Calligraphy – Artistic writing

Japanese calligraphy, also called sho, is a form of artistic writing of the Japanese charactors such as kanji, hiragana, katakana and alphabet. The four most basic and unique tools are brush, inkstick, mulberry paper and inkstone, which are used to create a work of modern calligraphy.

書アート

日本語の文字（漢字、ひらがな、カタカナ+アルファベットなど）を筆で書いたものを、書道もしくは書アートと読んでいます。現代の書作品には、最も基本的で特徴的な道具である、筆、墨、和紙、硯の4点が使われます。
